Reporting an incident of misconduct
An irregularity occurs when the public interest is at stake or when there is an actual or imminent breach of legislation or regulations, including European law. An irregularity may, for example, consist of an act or omission involving a failure to comply with a statutory requirement, a threat to (product) safety, damage to the environment or a breach of the integrity of service provision. Any suspicion of an irregularity must be based on reasonable grounds.
